About John Kriak

Certified by two separate programs in diabetes care from Novo Nordisk and LifeScan, Inc., Dr. John Kriak offers his expertise in medical matters to others as an educator, writer, and consultant. For over a decade and a half, Dr. Kriak has guided the students of Kaplan, Inc., by developing courses for the Pharmacy College Admissions Test, the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination, the United States Medical Licensure Examination, and other tests for aspiring medical professionals. Dr. John Kriak also functions as President and Chief Executive Officer of CAMMCO, LLC, which has provided organizations such as MountainTop Technologies, Inc.; Conemaugh Health System; and RX Centric with consulting on medical education and scientific writing. The Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education-approved course provider Dannemiller also benefits from Dr. Kriak’s ideas, as he serves as its Pharmacy Journal Club Editor and Director of Pharmacy Programs. Most recently, Dr. John Kriak joined Arroki, Inc., as a Medical Education Consultant, and for the past year, he has aided the company in designing psychometric tools.

Before moving into business, Dr. John Kriak taught at a number of institutions. At Saint Francis University, he instructed students in a nontraditional Master’s degree program and a Master of Medical Science program and administrated the school’s continuing education division. From 2000 until 2004, Dr. Kriak also acted as an Assistant Professor and Course Instructor for Pennsylvania College of Technology and Seton Hill University. Other facilities that have featured him as a lecturer include Red Rocks Community College, Anne Arundel Community College, Malcolm X College, and Conemaugh School of Nursing.

An inhabitant of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Dr. John Kriak relaxes by playing chess, cheering for nearby Pittsburgh’s professional sports teams, and listening to music. Also an avid television watcher, Dr. Kriak counts among his favorite shows The Big Bang Theory, Boardwalk Empire, True Blood, and specials on the History Channel and the Military Channel.
